At IconInc, we’ve recently opened two brand new student accommodation buildings; The Ascent in Liverpool and The Glassworks in Leeds. We wanted to show you our vision for both buildings so we created CGI photos. Before The Glassworks and The Ascent were built, we were able to use these CGI photos to show you what features the buildings were going to include. Without CGI imagery, we wouldn't have been able to show you our vision for the gym, the cinema, the different room types and the social areas at IconInc. ## Can you spot the difference between CGIs vs real photography? But CGI photos are fake aren’t they? Well, yes. They’re computer generated imagery but here at IconInc, we pride ourselves on making our computer generated images as accurate as possible. How else are you going to know what your brand new student accommodation is going to look like? Some people think that CGIs give a false impression of a new building. However, we think the CGIs give quite a good representation of what new IconInc buildings will look like inside and out. We’ll let you be the judge of that though. We’ll soon be releasing CGIs of our newest student accommodation in Lincoln, which is due to open in 2019. So keep an eye out for those if you’re thinking of studying and living in Lincoln! ## Why do we use CGI imagery though? One of the main reasons we use CGI imagery is to market the accommodation. Yes, it’s a sales reason but it also gives you an idea of what your accommodation will look like. We have a lot of different room types at IconInc and just describing them wouldn’t do the rooms justice. We hope the CGIs and the real photos do though!
