This month we kicked off Chinese New Year celebrations across our Iconinc sites with couplet-making. Residents wrote positive affirmations in traditional Chinese characters to decorate their doors and bring luck for the year ahead. And of course, we indulged in delicious food across all sites, wrapping up the celebrations with fun games—residents used sticky hands to grab red envelopes filled with vouchers, gold coins, and other exciting surprises!

We are also pleased to have Max onboard as our International Sales & Marketing Executive. We did a short Q&A with her so you can get to know her a bit more!

    What does your job entail?

My daily responsibilities include communicating with residents to make them feel at home. I also organise fun events at the apartments and capture memorable moments for our residents. Additionally, I manage Iconinc's Chinese social media platforms, such as Xiaohongshu, TikTok, and WeChat, to let more people know about our vibrant apartments and join us.

What do you like to do when you aren't working?

I enjoy indoor climbing (bouldering), which is a healthy sport that requires patience and courage.

An interesting fact about you many people don't know?

I am multilingual! I speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, and I'm currently learning Spanish.

Where's your favourite place in the world?

Agadir in Morroco. I love surfing there and soaking up the sunshine.

What are you watching or reading currently?

    Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Three words that best describe you?

    Positive, energetic, and crazy sociable.

We are so excited to have Max onboard at Iconinc. We're excited to see Max thrive in this new and exciting role at Iconinc! She'll be a key support for our international students, helping them feel at home as they settle in. Max will also be visiting all our Iconinc locations—so if you see her, don’t hesitate to say hello!
