Sep, '18Coming to a brand new city for university can be scary, but we want you to feel at ease as soon as possible. IconInc is all about community, and we want you to see us as a home away from home. That’s why we’ve made a list of top tips that will help you to settle in sooner. **Attend Our Events** When you’re new, one of the first things to do is try and make friends, and our events are just the place to do this. Every month we have a schedule packed full of fantastic events from yoga, to cookery classes, to a full-on party! Our events are the best way to meet other IconInc students and begin to form friendships, so make sure you come along. **Decorate Your Apartment** Your room is a very important space, and the main place you should feel at home. To make it homelier, bring along personal items such as pictures or ornaments. You can also buy little touches like throw pillows or a nice rug and begin to put your stamp on the place. As soon as your room begins to look more like yours, it’ll feel like yours.
