Glassworks Unveils Four Brand New Lounges!

In the heart of Leeds, The Glassworks has once again raised the bar for luxury student accommodation with the introduction of its four new lounges: The Boudoir, The Music Room, The Games Room, and The Casino. Each space is meticulously designed to cater to diverse preferences, offering residents an exquisite blend of style, comfort, and entertainment.

The Boudoir: Elegance Redefined

Step into The Boudoir, where sophistication meets relaxation. Adorned with plush furnishings and a colour palette that will bring your barbie-dreamhouse fantasies to life, this lounge is an intimate escape from the bustling city. The Boudoir caters to those seeking tranquillity, providing a haven for residents to unwind with a book, enjoy a cup of tea, or have a night in with your friends! During welcome week, we hosted a chill-out barbie bingo night for everyone to hang out and get to know each other and it was a hit; there were many prizes won with several vouchers handed out, but the best was saved for last- the life-sized cardboard cut-out of Ryan Gosling as Ken! Student living has never been so lush!

The Music Room: A Symphony of Sensations

For music enthusiasts, The Glassworks introduces The Music Room; a haven where rhythm and melody converge. The room is equipped with state-of-the-art audio systems and acoustics that elevate the listening experience. Residents can practise their talents, sing their hearts out to karaoke or utilise the space for podcasts, DJing and more! The Music Room is not just a lounge; it's a stage where residents can create and appreciate the magic of music, all from your accom! To hype up our residents, we had a karaoke night with plenty of noughties pop, Bollywood classics and K-pop tunes going! It was so fun and a great way to find new music and new friends from the building.

The Games Room: Playful Sophistication

Those with a penchant for games and friendly competition will find their haven in The Games Room. With all the major gaming consoles, billiards, darts, playseat, and more, this lounge is designed for both relaxation and excitement. Whether it's a casual game night with friends or a solo break from the stresses of uni, The Games Room offers a dynamic space for leisure and entertainment. We wanted to get everyone together and see their competitive sides, so we got together for some friendly competition playing darts, pool and Pictionary with amazing prizes and vouchers from local eateries up for grabs!

With its sleek design, sparkling lights, and high-end gaming tables, this lounge is a tribute to the thrill of chance.
