We’ll be a couple of minutes away from Brudenell Social Club, which is a local favourite for top gigs and cheap drinks.
What’s more, The Glassworks site is only a 20-minute walk away from bustling student area, Headingley, which boasts a range of bars and pubs that are frequented on Leeds’ student nights.
You can find out more in our blog post about the nearby bars and pubs hereWhere can I go shopping?
Leeds is famous for the quality of its shopping experience and the good news is that it’s very accessible from our new location.
There are a number of bus routes that run in and out of the city centre (49, 50 and 50A, to name a few), so it’s really easy to reach the likes of the Headrow, Briggate, Trinity Shopping Centre and Victoria Gate, which will be open by the time The Glassworks opens next year.
In terms of food shopping, you’ll find (at the time of writing) four major supermarkets within walking distance of our new building.Where can I go to chill out?
The Glassworks will feature a private cinema, a games room and some quiet, social areas and meeting rooms, should you need them, so there are plenty of options outside of your room to chill out here.
If you want to venture out, the historic Hyde Park Picture House, which is a 100-year-old traditional cinema, is within walking distance of our site and we’re right opposite Burley Park if you find yourself needing some grassland.
If you need to know anything else about The Glassworks, please don’t hesitate to contact us today and we’ll be happy to help you.
