Coming to study in the UK can be a daunting process. There’s so much to think about and a lot of important decisions to be made. Don’t let your student accommodation choice stress you out. IconInc can provide you with the most luxurious accommodation and we can remind you of what else you need to do as an international student too… ## First Of All, Here’s Why You Should Study In The UK We have some of the top universities in the world, the UK is a great place to live, and you have Europe on your doorstep. You can read more on why we think the UK is the best place for international students on our blog, but with many of the world's top universities in the UK, it’s a great place to study and you’ll create some great memories while you’re here.
## Are Your Visa Requirements Correct? Before you can even start thinking about student accommodation, you have to make sure your visa is correct. This is a vital point on your checklist as if you don’t have the right one, you might not even get through the airport when you land in the UK. Check your requirements via the course, and the UK Government website will have more information to ensure you’re on the right visa. ## Choose The Right Course You probably have a good idea of what course you want to do and that’s great! Give the course materials a thorough read through first to find out if there are options for things like work placements. These course material will also let you know if your course assessment is exams, coursework or a mixture of both. Courses differ between universities too so if you’re applying for a Journalism degree at 3 different universities, they could all be hugely different. It’s definitely worth doing your research! ## Pick The Best All Inclusive Student Accommodation IconInc, in Leeds and Liverpool, is the best all inclusive student accommodation both cities. ## Bring The Right Clothes The UK does have a variety of seasons so make sure you bring enough clothes for warm and cold weather. During the winter months, you’ll need big coats, and boots to protect your feet from the rain. In the summer though, sandals, cool trainers, and light jackets will be staples in your wardrobe.
